Adult Day Care

Adult Day Care facilities for the elderly are licensed and inspected by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. Funding from the Pennsylvania Area Agencies on Aging supports most day care programs in the area, although a few private-pay adult day care centers exist.

Long-term Care Insurance
Generally, most Long-term Care insurance policies have some provisions for adult day care services. If you have long-term care insurance, check your policy or call the insurance company to find out if the care you need is covered.

U.S. Veteran's Benefits

Medicare

Your Out-Of-Pocket Costs
Adult Day Care is primarily covered by private pay. Each center sets its own costs; Pennsylvania Area Agencies on Aging funding for those eligible may offset the center's fees.
