Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) represents the interests of older Pennsylvanians and its AAA membership by fostering collaboration in advocacy, leadership, training, and policy.

Each of the state’s 52 Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) offer information on services available to support older adults. Services range from adult day care to transportation assistance, home modification and security, and senior training and employment.

OPTIONS Assessment Program: Most of the home-based services that Pennsylvania Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) provide are offered in accordance with its OPTIONS Assessment Program.

Staff members of the Area Agency on Aging complete a thorough assessment of each applicant. If a person meets certain criteria for in-home services, a comprehensive plan of care is developed with links to community-based services and resources.
