Educators and StudentsEducation and TrainingHigh School Students For educators and students, the Institute on Aging promotes educational opportunities based on research and fact-based clinical practices to enhance the health and well-being of older adults. In addition to providing information on geriatric educational opportunities offered by government and publicly funded organizations, the Institute pulls together the extensive curricula and nonacademic continuing education courses and programs offered through the University of Pittsburgh. Through the Institute's Educational Advisory Council, council members work with the University of Pittsburgh to evaluate, develop, and enhance academic courses and programs (internships, residencies, and fellowships) and other curricula in the fields of geriatrics, gerontology, and health services. |
